London, 25th October 2024 – The Sickle Cell Alliance celebrated its launch at Scale Space, Imperial College White City Campus, West London bringing together a diverse group of experts, advocates, and supporters to advance impactful solutions for the sickle cell community. Spearheaded by Professor Julie Makani and Dr Steven Okoli, this milestone event hosted a series of powerful discussions focused on strengthening trust, improving health equity, and expanding blood donation opportunities for people of colour across the UK.
